What AEO means for a practice
More people now ask ChatGPT, Google's AI answers, Perplexity, or the assistant on their phone to recommend a therapist or a clinic. The answer usually names two or three practices, and the person calls one of them. Those tools don't invent their answers from nothing. They lean on what they can read and cross-check: your website, your Google Business Profile, directories like Psychology Today, and reviews. When those sources are thin, out of date, or disagree with each other, the assistant names a practice it can describe with more confidence. AEO, short for answer engine optimization, is the work of making your practice easy for those tools to read, trust, and repeat accurately.
What we do
- Structured data on your site that describes your practice, clinicians, services, and locations in a format machines read
- Plain-language answers to the questions people ask, like insurance, first visits, wait times, and who you see
- Your name, address, phone, hours, and services kept identical across your site and Google profile
- Directory listings like Psychology Today kept consistent with your site on Growth and up
- Clear, specific clinician and specialty pages that give assistants something concrete to quote
- A fixed set of buyer questions checked in AI assistants every month: 5 on Launch, 15 on Growth, 30 on Multi-Location
- A monthly report showing which assistants named you, and who they named instead
How we measure it
Together we pick a fixed list of questions your future clients would actually ask, like "therapist for teen anxiety in [your city] that takes Aetna." Every month we ask them the same way and record whether your practice comes up, where it appears, and which practices are named instead. AI answers shift from week to week, so a single month means little. The trend over several months is what tells you whether the work is landing. You see the dated results either way, good or bad.
What we can't promise
Nobody controls what an AI assistant says. Not us, not any agency, and not the practice. Anyone guaranteeing that ChatGPT will recommend you is guessing. What we control is whether the facts about your practice are accurate, consistent, and easy to read everywhere those tools look. That's the work we do every month, and the report shows you the results honestly.
What it costs
AI visibility work comes with the Referral-Ready Presence Plan, along with your website, SEO and content, Google profile, and unlimited changes. The first five practices pay no setup fee: $399, $599, or $899 a month, locked for two years. Standard pricing starts at $499 a month.
Questions about AI visibility
Is AEO different from SEO?
They overlap. SEO is about ranking in search results. AEO is about being named correctly when an assistant writes an answer. Good structure, clear pages, and consistent listings help both, which is why they come together in one plan.
Which AI assistants do you check?
We check the assistants people use most, currently ChatGPT, Google's AI answers, and Perplexity. The list changes as the tools do, and the report says which ones were checked each month.
Can you get ChatGPT to recommend us?
No one can make that happen on demand. We make your practice easy to describe accurately and track whether it's working. Over time, practices with clear, consistent information tend to be named more often.
Do you need access to our Psychology Today profile?
On Growth and up, yes. We'll ask for access or work with whoever manages it so the details match your site. On Launch, we'll tell you exactly what to change.
Can you check where we stand now?
Yes. The free Referral-Readiness Audit includes a look at whether your practice is structured for AI answers.
