Why practice websites are different
A practice website carries obligations most web designers have never heard of. Accessibility is a live legal exposure, not a nice-to-have. Intake forms collect information that has to be handled carefully. Language about treatment and outcomes has to be written with a clinical context in mind. Referral sources judge the site before they send anyone your way. A general web designer will build you something attractive and leave every one of those unaddressed, because they have never had to think about them. That is the difference in this work, and it is the reason practices pay more than a landscaping company does.
Three problems every practice has
Referral sources check you first.
Before a physician, a school counselor, or another provider sends someone to you, they look you up. A roster listing people who left, a services page describing what you stopped offering, or a site that is hard to read on a phone all quietly cost you referrals. You never hear about the ones you lost.
Accessibility is a legal exposure.
Website accessibility claims are filed constantly and healthcare organisations are regularly among the targets. Most practice sites fail on contrast, keyboard navigation, unlabeled form fields, and PDFs that are really just pictures of paper. None of it is visible to someone using a mouse.
Your intake form was an afterthought.
Most practice contact forms were built by someone who has never read a privacy regulation. They ask for more than they need, promise confidentiality the technology cannot deliver, and route submissions through vendors nobody vetted.
Who this is for
Medical and specialty practices. Dental and orthodontic. Therapy, counseling, and behavioral health. Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech pathology. Chiropractic. Optometry and audiology. Podiatry and dermatology. Veterinary. The specialty changes. The underlying work does not: accessibility held to a real standard, intake that collects the minimum, structure that referral sources and search engines can read, and language reviewed for a clinical context. If you run a practice and you are not on that list, ask. The question is whether your website carries obligations, not what your licence says.
What comes with every practice plan
- Accessibility practices aligned with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, reviewed as part of ongoing maintenance
- Intake forms that collect only what is needed to respond, with no promises the technology cannot keep
- Structure that lets search engines and AI assistants describe your practice accurately
- Unlimited changes to the site you have, worked one at a time
- A written report every month, so you can see what you are paying for
- Hosting, security, backups, and monitoring
- Your domain and your content stay yours, always
No AI answers your patients
When someone reaches out through your site, no AI writes back. The confirmation they see is text a person wrote and approved before it was ever published. People contact a practice on hard days. A generated reply cannot tell the difference between a routine question and someone who has been putting off this message for weeks. It should not be the first thing they hear from you. This is written into your agreement, not just stated on a page.
What we are not
Goodform is not a marketing agency. We do not sell patient acquisition, run ads, or promise you a position in search results, because nobody honest can promise that. What we do is build the site properly and then keep it that way: current, accessible, fast, accurate, and structured so the people looking for you can find you. That is a maintenance service, not a campaign, and it is priced as one.
What it costs
Three tiers, from $399 a month ongoing, with two ways to pay for the build. You can pay a setup fee upfront and start at the lower monthly rate, or skip the setup fee and pay a higher monthly for the first year. The total is the same either way. Goodform takes a maximum of ten practices. That is deliberate.
Start with the audit
A free written review of your current site, delivered in five business days. What referral sources see when they look you up, how accessible it is, how fast it loads on a real phone, and whether you are structured to show up in search and AI answers. Every finding comes with what it means and what we would do about it, whether or not you ever work with us. There is no sales call.
